Siempre he tenido pasión por los idiomas pero ahora que estoy viviendo en el extranjero se incrementa día a día. El hecho de poder hablar con una persona en su lengua materna, une, crea vínculos, y además te hace sentirte bien contigo mismo. ¿Qué más se puede pedir? El saber idiomas te da poder y además te abre las puertas a mundos desconocidos que en otras circunstacias nunca hubieras imaginado conocer. Es increible...

Sí, lo sé, a veces me emociono hablando de los idiomas, pero es que las lenguas son el pegamento de las civilizaciones. Los idiomas te permiten acercarte a otras culturas y esas culturas te abren la mente, y te hacen darte cuenta de que hay otras formas de vivir, de moverse, de pensar...Y lo mejor es absorber todo lo que se pueda, aprender lo máximo, aprovechar los días...Carpe Diem.

¿Que qué me ha pasado hoy para estar asi? Pues que he tenido una conversación increible con un chico que nació en Camerún, se crio en Dinamarca y lleva tres años viviendo en Inglaterra. Hemos estado hablando en francés de las diferencias entre Escandinavia y El Reino Unido ... y simplemente me lo he pasado muy bien. Es uno de esos momentos en los que te alegras del esfuerzo y las horas que has echado aprendiendo otras palabras y estructuras extrañas...es una buena sensación.

I've always had a passion for languages, but now that I'm living abroad it's increasing day after day. The fact of being able to communicate with another person in their native language brings people together and makes you feel comfortable with yourself. What else can you ask for? Mastering different languages makes you powerful and opens you the doors to unknown worlds that maybe in some other circumstances you had never imagined to know. It's incredible...

Yes, I know that sometimes I get carried away talking about languages, but the truth is that languages are the glue of civilizations. Languages let you know other cultures, and those cultures broaden your mind and make you realize that there are other life styles, other ways of thinking...and the best thing one can do is to absorb as much knowledge as possible, learn a lot and make the most of every single day...Carpe Diem.

Are you asking yourself what has happened to me today to be like this? Well, I've had an amazing conversation with a guy who was born in Camerun, was raised in Denmark and has been living in Enland for three years. We've been discussing the differences between Scandinavia and the United Kingdom in French...and I've just had a great time. This is one of those moments when you're glad for having made the effort of learning new words and strange structures... it's a good feeling.
